  16. I have a question regarding the USR 28.8 (upgradable to 33.6Kbps) 
  17. WinModem : What standard is the 33.6 Kbps ? Does it only work at 33.6 
  18. with another USR modem ? Or is this a standard that other vendors are 
  19. supporting as well ? I'm about to buy a modem, and this USR is only 
  20. going for $129 (at Fry's) which seems like a good deal for a 28.8 modem 
  21. that is upgradable to 33.6. Comments ?

  23. Oh, and 1 more thing : Does it work under DOS ? I've checked USR's 
  24. press release, and they said that it was designed "exclusively for 
  25. Windows"...Hmmmmm
